Heidrive develops and produces hygienic drive solutions for precisely such high demands. The stainless steel motor series was specially designed for the food and beverage industry. Thanks to a high level of corrosion protection, the drives are durable and maintenance-free, making them ideal for use in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries as well as in areas that require special cleaning or disinfection.
The motors have a sophisticated sealing concept which prevents water or dust from entering the interior. In addition, no dirt particles adhere to the dead space-free design. The stainless steel servo motor solution can also be used perfectly in areas with high-pressure cleaning, as they meet the IP69 and IP69k protection classes. The motor shaft, housing and flange are made of food-grade stainless steel, allowing operation even in wet and humid environments or in contact with cleaning agents without any problems.
The smooth surface material of the actuators has been developed in accordance with the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) guidelines and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The shaft seal is also FDA-compliant and has a long service life even under the harshest environmental conditions.
Other outstanding features are the motor versions with integrated electronics, because here the servo controllers are integrated directly in the motor, which significantly reduces the amount of cabling required. In combination with a built-in single or absolute encoder, this results in a very compact drive unit.

The drive specialist Heidrive currently offers the stainless steel motors in four different sizes, which are based on the existing motor sizes 60mm, 80mm, 100mm and 130mm.
The drive package is perfectly rounded off with a stainless steel plug qualified for the hygienic environment, so that simple commissioning is made possible.
